The Vision
Meet George & Phyllis Coleman
Phyllis and George have always loved working with children. Phyllis originally planned to go into social work, but then the child care opportunity pulled on her heart. Phyllis has been in childcare for nearly 30 years.
For 8 years she operated a family child care center from home. She and George have owned The Sitter, Inc. since 2005.
"I love my business because I look at it as a ministry, and I truly believe in taking care of the whole family, " she says. "We minister to the families as well as the children, because if the family is healthy, then the children will be healthy."
